What does Show last active do?

It decides whether other people can see an Active today mark on you - and it is reciprocal, so turning it off also stops you seeing anybody else's.

It is in Settings under Discovery, and it is on by default. A recency signal everybody takes and nobody gives is worth nothing to anyone.

For everything else on that screen, see what is in Settings.
